How to Rock Your High Waisted Shorts

High waisted shorts are becoming a very popular trend, especially coming into the warmer weather. There are many different ways to wear these and I will be showing a few of them.




1. With your shirt tucked in. This look is very nice. It gives a nice silhouette to all body shapes.You can wear a tank top or t-shirt with jean shorts, or if you have other more classy shorts, you can wear a pretty blouse. These outfits look best when worn with a belt.

2. Dress it up. This is an appropriate way to wear shorts out to work or on a date. Also these outfits are very easy to go from a daytime to a nighttime look. My favorite way to rock this look is with black shorts and a bright colored top.

3. With a crop top. High waisted shorts look amazing with a crop top. You could either wear a casual top and worn in shorts with flip flops to go to the beach, or you could wear it like this model did with a nice top, nice shorts, and some wedges for a day out on the town.



4. With tights underneath. This can give a more conservative feel to your look. Also it can give a more girly feel to an outfit.

Springtime Nail polishes

Spring is a great time to try out nail polishes that you might not normally wear. This spring, there are many awesmoe trends as far as nail polishes. We are seeing a lot of bright neon colors, some pale pastel colors, and also some nude neutral colors. I will be showing nail polishes from my three favorite brands, all ranging in prices.




The first brand (the cheapest) is OPI. Although it is the cheapest, it still has amazing quality. You can find these nail polishes at Walmart for around $7.00 as well as at Target for around $7.74.

This color is called "The It Color".
This yellow is very bright and reminds me of sunshine.

This color is called "Give Me the Moon!"
It gives a nice cool feeling to spring.

This is a minty green that works great with many outfits.

The next brand is Essie (the middle priced). This also has great quality.You can find these nail polishes at Walmart for around $7.75 as well as at Target for $7.79.

This bright orange color is called "Capri".
This is a perfect orange for springtime.

This color is a great subtle look.

This color is a nice clean color with a splash of shimmer.

Finally, there is the brand Butter London. Although this is the most expensive of the brands it has by far the best quality. This can be purchased at ULTA for around $14.00.

It is a gorgeous coral color and is my personal favorite nail polish of all time.

It is very subtle but still gorgeous.
